accounting for 22% of the total natural gas resources. Kuqa region north of the Tarim natural gas resources are more than 20,000 million cubic meters, is the richest natural gas resources in the Tarim Basin region, with the formation of a world-class potential gas development area. The discovery of natural gas in Tarim Basin, China has become, following Russia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and other countries after natural gas power. February 2000 the first meeting of the State Council approved the start, Planning in the The first phase of the project investment is forecast to 120 billion yuan, the upstream gas field development, pipeline and distribution network backbone total investment of more than 300 billion yuan. Project has commenced in the year 2000-2001 will be fully completed in 2007. Is China's longest and largest diameter, largest investment, the largest amount of gas, the construction conditions of the most complex natural gas pipeline. Implementation of natural gas projects, and promoting China's energy structure and industrial structure adjustment, the Eastern, Western regional economic co-development and improve the areas along the Yangtze River Delta and the people's quality of life of the pipeline to effectively control air pollution. Implementation of this project, for the western development, the western region of the resource advantage into economic advantage and create the conditions for the promotion of Xinjiang and the western region and accelerate the economic development of major strategic significance. Engineering background of reform and opening up, China's energy industry has developed rapidly, but the structure is irrational, of coal in primary energy production and consumption in both the proportion of up to 72%. A large number of coal-fired atmospheric environment deteriorating, the development of clean energy, adjust the energy structure is imminent. China's western region of the Tarim, Qaidam, Ordos and Sichuan Basin bears 26 trillion cubic meters of natural gas, accounting for about 87% of onshore natural gas resources. Especially the Tarim Basin in Xinjiang, more than 80,000 natural gas resources billion cubic meters, accounting for 22% of the total natural gas resources. Kuqa region north of the Tarim natural gas resources are more than 20,000 million cubic meters, is the richest natural gas resources in the Tarim Basin region, with the formation of a world-class potential gas development area. The discovery of natural gas in Tarim Basin, so that China became Russia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and other countries after natural gas power. Since the 1990s began, workers in oil exploration west of the basin of the crescent to bring natural gas gathering, have proven the Kela-2, Hotan River, Yaha, sheep Tucker, Britain bought 7, Yu Dong 2, Ji Lake, spit Ziluo Ke, Ya Kela, tower 6, 21 Kekeya other medium and small gas fields, discovered by South 2, Dabei 1, Dina 1 and other oil and gas structures, the end of 2005, proved geological reserves of 680.045 billion cubic meters of natural gas meters, 472.979 billion cubic meters of recoverable reserves. Changqing gas area is West-East gas source replacement area, the amount of 10.7 trillion cubic meters of natural gas resources. West-East gas field exploration and development investment of all, 67% of investment in the pipeline in the Midwest, the project will greatly facilitate the implementation of the western region of Xinjiang's economic development, but also help to promote along the 10 provinces, municipalities, industrial structure, energy structure adjustment and economic efficiency. Natural gas to pull mechanical, electrical, chemical, metallurgy, building materials and other related industries, the expansion of domestic demand, increase employment has a positive and practical significance in China's western region project planning, there are six oil and gas basins, including Tarim, Junggar, Turpan-Hami, Qaidam, Ordos and Sichuan Basin. According to the resources of natural gas exploration and the current status of the situation, the state decided to start natural gas projects, accelerate the construction of gas pipeline, in addition to the completion of the Shaanxi-Beijing natural gas pipeline, but also re-construction of three natural gas pipelines, which Tarim - Shanghai, Qinghai Sebei - Xining - Lanzhou, Gansu, Zhong County, Chongqing - Wuhan gas pipeline, so as to put resources into economic advantages, the eastern part of natural gas to meet urgent needs. From a larger perspective, Russia is planning to introduce in the West Siberian gas pipeline will be connected to existing natural gas artery, as well as the introduction of Russia's East Siberia gas pipeline is also being planned, the two pipelines is also an Implementation of the project natural gas project was first mooted in 1998. February 14, 2000, Comrade Zhu Rongji chaired the Prime Minister's office in person, listen to the State Planning Commission and the China National Petroleum Corporation on natural gas engineering resources, markets and technology, economic feasibility demonstration report. The meeting clearly, is to start natural gas project in Xinjiang Xinjiang natural gas resources into for the benefit of the majority of people of all economic advantages of a good thing, but also to promote the industrial structure along the 10 provinces, municipalities and energy structure adjustment, an important measure of economic efficiency. March 25, 2000, the State Planning Commission was held in Beijing natural gas engineering conference. It was announced by the State Council approved the establishment of natural gas and construction leading group, Zhang, deputy director of the State Planning Commission appointed group leader. August 23, 2000, the State Council held its 76th prime minister's office, approved the project in natural gas engineering. Opened the natural gas project was a symbol of western development project. July 4, 2002, natural gas project officially started construction test section. October 1, 2003, trial operation Jingbian-Shanghai section successfully put into operation January 1, 2004 formally to supply Shanghai, October 1, 2004 put into operation across the board, December 30, 2004 commercial operation. West-East Gas Pipeline Project from the round in the south of Xinjiang, passing through Xinjiang, Gansu, Ningxia, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Henan, Anhui, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai and 10 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities), 66 counties, total length of 4,000 kilometers. Across the Gobi, desert, plateau, mountains, plains, water network and a variety of topography and other climatic conditions, but also to resist the cold and oxygen, the difficulty of construction rare in the world. Trunk pipeline natural gas trunk pipelines across the terrain area are: North China Plain, Loess Plateau, Tarim Basin, Hexi Corridor, the Yangtze River Plain natural gas trunk pipelines across the grain base: Hexi Corridor - Yinchuan Plain - JAC region - Lake Plains Pipeline Project

consists of a trunk and branch lines consisting of eight , east and west ends across China, across 15 provinces and autonomous regions and special administrative regions, annual capacity of 30 billion cubic meters of gas can be stable for more than 30 years. West-East Gas Pipeline Project Link put into operation for China's energy landscape has added a major artery, will help ease the natural gas supply situation and improve the level of natural gas pipeline network operations, and further optimize China's energy consumption structure. As of May 28, 2011, With several other branch lines of the next year through, then China will have 500 million people benefit. Central - Second West-East routes put into operation, not only can effectively alleviate the Pearl River Delta, Yangtze River Delta and south-central region of natural gas supply and demand, but also achieved with the gas line, lines, and a number of astringent ninglam pipeline has been built networking, and thus form the backbone of China's natural gas trunk pipeline network, constitute nearly 40,000 kilometers of

security of gas supply, but also with the previously built natural gas pipeline, Shaanxi-Beijing pipelines connected into a 'gas network', you can always adjust the gas source. Experts predict that as the overall paved natural gas pipeline network, through the natural gas in China in 2011 will increase to 270 or so cities. The mid-21st century, the country will form a cover 31 provinces a large natural gas pipeline network,
Goose Coats, more than 95% of prefecture-level city can use natural gas, the energy consumption structure will be further optimized. Second West-East link up, will drive along part of the city instead of using clean fuel power plants, furnaces, chemical companies and residents to use gas and coal, in improving people's quality of life, but also will effectively improve China's atmospheric environment. According to expert estimates, the introduction of natural gas from Central Asia to replace 76.8 million tons of standard coal per year and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 130 million tons, to reduce sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides and dust and other harmful substances in industrial emissions of 2.46 million tons, to improve China's energy structure and quality of the environment will play a pivotal role. Three project planning in the third natural gas pipeline route from the base to determine arrived in Fujian, Jiangxi, Xinjiang passed to Russia and northwest China's natural gas exports to the huge energy demand of the Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta region. 2009-2015, the state planning in the southeast, the Yangtze River Delta, the Bohai Sea, and South Africa four key target market for the new branch pipeline of about 8000 km. Planning and construction of second West, along the southeast coast and west lines, Myanmar pipeline, Fujian branch lines; Yangtze River Delta, Shanghai plans to build second Western branch lines, Jinhua - Lishui - Wenzhou - Taizhou branch and such as the East - Nantong - Jiangdu pipeline, the main gas source West line, the West second, Ji-Ning line and Jiangsu LNG. Bohai planning new Qinhuangdao-Shenyang line, Shaanxi-Beijing three lines, Shandong pipe network, and route the pipeline, the basic realization of prefecture-level city-wide coverage, the formation of transporting flexible regions pipe network, the main gas source for the Shaanxi-Beijing one, two, three-wire and Tangshan LNG. And South Africa plans to build the West second, west line of Route and Shiyan branch lines, Xiangtan branch lines, to further improve the supply pipe network, and expand market coverage, the main gas source for the western line, the West second-line and west line, Chungmu line and Huai-Wu line. Efficiency natural gas project investment project a huge impact on the entire project budget over 150 billion yuan, economic and social benefits are significant. Natural gas project on the construction site of the
itself is concerned, according to preliminary estimates, compared with imports of liquefied natural gas in Tarim to Shanghai,
Moncler Shop, the price of natural gas about 6 cents more expensive, has a strong competitive . And the eastern region is large compared to the use of artificial gas, although gas prices cheap, but well below the thermal value of natural gas. Calculated by the same calorific value, to the east of the Tarim natural gas supply price per cubic meter of gas is only about two-thirds. This price, gas field development and pipeline transport enterprise economic efficiency of enterprises should be guaranteed. Sector-led The implementation of this major project will also promote China's energy structure and industrial structure adjustment, driven steel, building materials, petrochemical, power and other related industries. Along the city can clean fuel to replace part of the power plants, furnaces, chemical companies and residents use fuel oil and coal production will effectively improve the atmospheric environment to improve people's quality of life. Environmental protection and foreign investment are two sides attach great importance to ecological and environmental protection issues in a rigorous pre-construction environmental and social assessments, establish and improve the international universal environmental requirements. Lop Nur region for the protection of more than 80 wild camels only, special added nearly 1.5 billion investment to increase the pipeline length of 15 km; backfilling of pipelines buried underground excavation of construction standards is to ensure that the backfill on the grass to grow. By this standard, the pipeline has finished laying all of the ecological impact of the West is a small entry Atlas Atlas more extended reading: 1
