Terry Connor Named Wolverhampton Wanderers Manager

Feb 24, 2012 - Terry Connor has been announced as interim manager of Wolverhampton Wanderers until the end of the season after a long and hilarious search for Mick McCarthy's replacement. Wolves have made rather a mess of their hunt for a new manager following McCarthy's sacking with several big names turning them down in quick succession as the club remained without a helmsman for almost two weeks. As recently as yesterday,Beats By Dre Headphones, former Sunderland boss Steve Bruce looked set to take the reigns at the Molineux, only for Wolves to change their mind at the last minute and offer the job to McCarthy's former assistant, whom they're giving a few months to prove that he deserves a full-time position.

For his part,Vibram 5 Fingers, Connor, who spent five and a half years under McCarthy, is confident that Wolves can escape relegation this season, telling the official site that the players have earned their place in the Premier League:

We have survived for the last two years and there's no reason to doubt we can do it again. The players have earned the right over the last three years to be in this division. Now they should want to stay in it for themselves and,Moncler Online, if a by-product of that is dedicating it or a good result to Mick, so be it.

If Wolves can navigate the treacherous shoals of the bottom three and emerge safely this summer,UGG Boots, Connor will presumably get the job full time. If not, we could well be in for round two of nobody-wants-to-manage-this-team.

1) STILL BITTER AND CRYING TEARS
2) NOPE, STILL CRYING
3) The real insult being that they had ZERO plans after they fired Mick and then were turned down four times what the hell man
3) That said,Beats By Dre Sale, I want Connor to do an incredible job. He's now the only black coach in EPL, isn't he?
